Kaydee Van Flein to serve as СÓÅÊÓƵF's interim associate vice chancellor for student affairs

The University of Alaska Fairbanks announced on September 11 that Kaydee Van Flein will assume the role of interim associate vice chancellor for student affairs while Ali Knabe serves as interim chief of staff to Interim Chancellor Mike Sfraga.

At the September 5 full board meeting in Juneau, the University of Alaska Board of Regents approved a resolution of appreciation for former СÓÅÊÓƵF Chancellor Dan White. White retired from his role as Chancellor in July.

President Pat Pitney announced that she has selected four finalists in the search for the next Chancellor of СÓÅÊÓƵA. Each finalist will visit the Anchorage campus between September 8 and September 18, 2025, engaging with the СÓÅÊÓƵA community through two days of meetings, tours and open forum events.
